This policy explains what personal information Attari Car Service collects through this website and our booking channels, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It applies to attaricarservice.com and to bookings made by phone, WhatsApp or email.

Who we are

Attari Car Service is a car rental and tour operating business with its office at Burdwan Road, Near Golden Plaza, Ward No. 6, Mahanandapar, Siliguri 734001, India. For any question about this policy, write to [email protected] or call +91 86705 67787.

What we collect

• Contact details — your name, mobile number and email address, given when you submit a booking or enquiry.
• Travel details — pickup and drop points, dates, passenger count, flight or train numbers and any preferences you tell us.
• Identity documents — where a permit is required, copies of a passport, voter ID or visa, collected only for filing that permit.
• Payment references — UPI or bank transaction references. We do not store card numbers, CVVs or banking passwords.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring source, collected by analytics and advertising cookies.

Why we use it

• To quote for, confirm and operate the trip you asked about.
• To file protected-area permits, Bhutan entry permits and Inner Line Permits with the relevant authorities.
• To issue invoices and meet tax and transport-department record-keeping obligations.
• To respond to your questions and resolve complaints.
• To measure how the website performs and how well our advertising works.

Cookies and advertising

This site uses cookies for three purposes. Necessary cookies keep the site working. Analytics cookies, including Google Analytics, tell us which pages people read. Advertising cookies, including Google Ads remarketing, let us show our advertisements to people who have already visited the site.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser at any time. Doing so does not stop you booking with us.

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary, and only with:

• The driver assigned to your trip, who receives your name, phone number and pickup details.
• Immigration and protected-area authorities in Sikkim, Bhutan and Arunachal Pradesh, where a permit requires it.
• Hotels booked as part of your package, which receive guest names and dates.
• Our accountants and payment providers for invoicing and settlement.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not pass it to unrelated marketing companies.

How long we keep it

Booking and invoice records are kept for eight years to meet Indian tax requirements. Permit document copies are deleted within ninety days of the trip ending, unless the authority requires otherwise. Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted after twelve months.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to retain, or withdraw consent to marketing messages. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within thirty days.

Security

Information is held on access-controlled systems and shared with staff only where a trip requires it. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not ask for and never store card details or banking credentials.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen. Where children travel as part of a family booking, their details are supplied by the accompanying adult.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be flagged to anyone with a live booking.
