About this trip

The full Bhutan circuit at a pace that lets the country land. Entry for Indian nationals is by permit rather than visa, filed at the Phuentsholing immigration office, which is why the first night is at the border. Route permits for Punakha and beyond are issued separately in Thimphu. We file both, so you spend the morning waiting in a hotel lobby instead of a queue.
