Day1
Arrive NJP / Bagdogra, drive to Gangtok
Met at the airport or station and driven up along the Teesta to Gangtok. Flower-decorated room on arrival. Evening walk on MG Marg.

Day2
Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir and Nathu La
The high East Sikkim day: Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir and Nathu La on a separate permit where it is open. Yak rides at the lake if you want the photograph.

Day3
Gangtok local sightseeing
Rumtek monastery, Ganesh Tok, Tashi viewpoint, the Do Drul chorten, the Namgyal institute and the ropeway. Candlelight dinner in the evening.

Day4
Gangtok to Pelling
West across Sikkim with stops at Namchi Char Dham and Samdruptse, arriving Pelling in the afternoon. The Kanchenjunga view from the hotel is the point of the night.

Day5
Pelling sightseeing
Pelling Skywalk and the Chenrezig statue at first light, then Rimbi falls, the Kanchenjunga falls, Khecheopalri lake and the Pemayangtse monastery with the Rabdentse ruins.

Day6
Pelling to Darjeeling
Cross back into West Bengal and climb to Darjeeling in the afternoon. Easy evening at Chowrasta and the Mall.

Day7
Tiger Hill sunrise and Darjeeling
Early run to Tiger Hill for the sunrise, back via Batasia Loop and Ghum monastery. Later the tea estate, the ropeway, the zoo and the mountaineering institute. Toy train joyride optional.

Day8
Darjeeling to NJP / Bagdogra
A slow morning, then the drive down to the plains and drop at the station or airport.

- Anything caused by roadblocks, landslides or weather (extra night halts, detours)
- Tips, laundry, telephone bills and room service
- Anything not written in the inclusions list
Terms & conditions
- Booking is confirmed only after an advance of 30% is received; the balance is payable on arrival.
- Rates are for the number of passengers quoted. Adding a guest may change the vehicle and the rate.
- Hotels are subject to availability at the time of booking; a similar category hotel is provided if the named one is full.
- Protected-area permits need a valid photo ID for every guest (voter ID, passport or driving licence; Aadhaar alone is not accepted in Sikkim).
- Children below 5 years travel free without a bed. Children 5 to 11 years are charged 60% with an extra bed.
- Sightseeing beyond the itinerary is charged extra on a per-day basis.
- North Sikkim, Nathu La and the Silk Route depend on daily road and permit conditions; if a road is closed we suggest the nearest alternative and no refund is applicable.
- Cancellation: 15 days or more before travel 20% is retained, 7 to 14 days 50%, less than 7 days 100%.
