Day1
Arrive Guwahati, drive to Kaziranga
Pick-up and the drive east along NH27 through tea gardens and paddy. Check in at a resort near Kohora and an early night — safaris start before dawn.

Day2
Elephant safari and jeep safari
Elephant-back safari in the central range at first light, when the grass is still wet and rhinos are easy to find. Back for breakfast, then an afternoon jeep safari in the western range for wild buffalo, swamp deer, elephants and, with luck, a tiger. Safari and park charges are at actuals and are booked in your name in advance.

Day3
Kaziranga to Shillong
A long but scenic drive south into Meghalaya, climbing out of the Assam plains to Shillong. Evening at Police Bazar.

Day4
Shillong sightseeing, drive to Guwahati
Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak and Ward's Lake in the morning, then down to Guwahati with a stop at Umiam lake. Evening Brahmaputra sunset cruise if the river schedule allows.

Day5
Kamakhya temple and drop
Morning darshan at Kamakhya, a look at the Assam State Museum if there is time, and drop at the airport or station.

- Anything not written in the inclusions list
Terms & conditions
- Booking is confirmed only after an advance of 30% is received; the balance is payable on arrival.
- Rates are for the number of passengers quoted. Adding a guest may change the vehicle and the rate.
- Hotels are subject to availability at the time of booking; a similar category hotel is provided if the named one is full.
- Protected-area permits need a valid photo ID for every guest (voter ID, passport or driving licence; Aadhaar alone is not accepted in Sikkim).
- Children below 5 years travel free without a bed. Children 5 to 11 years are charged 60% with an extra bed.
- Sightseeing beyond the itinerary is charged extra on a per-day basis.
- North Sikkim, Nathu La and the Silk Route depend on daily road and permit conditions; if a road is closed we suggest the nearest alternative and no refund is applicable.
- Cancellation: 15 days or more before travel 20% is retained, 7 to 14 days 50%, less than 7 days 100%.
